Dr. Moshirvaziri

Dr. Shayda Moshirvaziri is a highly experienced and sought-after tutor with over 20 years of success supporting students in challenging math and science subjects, including algebra, geometry, precalculus, ACT math, SAT math, AP chem, and AP calculus. She graduated with top honors from UCLA in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Biomedical Engineering and went on to earn her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego.

Dr. Shayda is known for her clear explanations, patient approach, and ability to build student confidence. Her deep subject knowledge, combined with years of hands-on tutoring, has helped countless students achieve meaningful score improvements and academic success.

Thanks to her stellar reputation, Shayda quickly built a strong client base, which led her to establish a successful tutoring company in the San Diego area. While she’s technically “retired” now, she still tutors with STP in her core subjects and approaches each session with the same passion and dedication. Her genuine commitment to student success is evident in every interaction and we are lucky to have her on our team!
