Luis Hernandez

Luis Hernandez always had a natural inclination for teaching, but initially pursued a degree in Civil Engineering, drawn to its problem-solving and mathematical foundations. While this path strengthened his analytical skills, it wasn’t until he began mentoring construction workers and tutoring engineering students that he rediscovered his true calling—education.

Since then, Luis has been dedicated to helping students build confidence in math, physics, and standardized test prep, offering instruction in both English and Spanish. Whether working one-on-one or in group settings, in-person or online, he focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs.

Beyond academics, Luis believes that learning should be both structured and enjoyable. His easygoing approach helps students feel comfortable tackling challenges, while his love for sports and music adds a dynamic element to his teaching style. By fostering independent thinking and curiosity, he aims to help students reach their full potential—both in and out of the classroom.
