Emmitt Rattey is a Bronze Tutor at Strategic Test Prep and a freshman at Brown University, where he studies Applied Math–Economics and Psychology. After self-studying his way to a 1510 on the Digital SAT, Emmitt brings firsthand insight into what it takes to study efficiently, stay motivated, and achieve meaningful score gains using STP’s proven strategies.

Emmitt graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA, excelled in rigorous coursework, and earned AP Scholar with Distinction honors. His ability to break down complex ideas into simple, approachable steps makes him a strong fit for students who need clarity, structure, and encouragement as they prepare for the SAT.

Outside of tutoring, Emmitt is an avid runner pursuing a walk-on spot with Brown’s Division I Cross Country and Track teams. He has held several community-focused leadership roles and enjoys solving Rubik’s cubes and following the NBA and NFL in his free time.
