Andy Catanese

Andy is a full-time tutor with Strategic Test Prep, where he is deeply dedicated to the success and growth of the students he serves. He brings over 15 years of tutoring experience, including managing an after-school tutoring center and five years of virtual tutoring. Andy achieved an impressive SAT score of 1550—equivalent to 2330 out of 2400 with the experimental essay section—and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a perfect 4.0 GPA in Mathematics and a 3.94 GPA in Secondary Mathematics Education. He has also contributed to math curriculum development in contract roles and worked as a corporate trainer for new travel advisors.

In his spare time, Andy is actively involved in musical theatre as a performer and has taken on roles as a vocal director and pit orchestra conductor. An accomplished writer, he aspires to create a musical that one day reaches Broadway.
